On windows 2000, How do I make the login script run maximized so the user can see it?

We don't use the runlogonscriptsync registry entry because everything else waits on the logon script to complete before loading...

Here's what we use and it works great. Have this line be the first line in your script..

However, it is better to run it synchronously to solve other potential problems that might arise because the login script is still running while other programs start or other things are happening.

Indeed... like autostart applications depending on the mapping of network drives for example.
