Indeed 5 minutes is no checker anymore. It isn't necessary that it becomes
a dynamic value.
Only the possible rate selection should be a little bit larger. Also it is
possible that people are using your BBChecker for other reasons and that a
lower check rate is acceptable.
Not all want to be the first poster on a new reaction. Mostly they want to
have an easy way to see "are there new reactions on the board", when they
have just a little bit of time for reading and reacting on it.
Indeed with a modem connection the check rate should be very low.
