How about if you abandoned the whole MessageBox thingy for PM and just notify the same was as regular posts with Slider and budda bing? I find that the MessageBox doesn't have focus and I have no idea how long it's been there.
I realize it would be a challenge to incorporate with the whole PMessenger GUI thing.
