I'm looking for script ideas to send a test print job to a printer, if possible.
The Scenario...
Win2k/NT4 domain...
Printserver with about 300 printers is moving, getting a new static IP, blah, blah.
Project Plan requires a test print to all printers after move.
ATM, the plan calls for a manual 'print test page' from each printer and a gopher to the printer to retrieve the hard copy from each printer.
I have created a KiX script to check the printer status for all printers before and after the move
but the doubters still want to see a hard copy from each printer.
Any and all brain pharts on scripting a test print to a networked printer are welcome.
[Oh yeah, they want this yesterday for the move this weekend.]
