the way I do it might not be the best or most polite but I think MCA has done a great deal of changes and I like those.

what comes to moving these topics to general... I think it was good call.
now, they are not spread on what ever forum and they should be even easier to find.

and collect them in some manner thus making a "webring" from other kixtart-sites should be easier.
