It is possible that the "kixtart.org" site isn't reachable. Some days in
December 2002 the forums of this site were unavailable.
Currently some very good mirrors of UDF forum exist, but we doesn't find
a mirror location for the FAQ forum. FAQ issues which can be very handy.
We have extend our pages to supply a need for those situations.

contains special links. Information will be updated on a regular base.
The printer-friendly link is a mirror of topic on our scripting@wanadoo.nl site.

It wasn't our suggestion to move it to forum general.
Recently a lot of topics on the scripts forum has been moved or in some
situations copies to general forum.
The possible problems with moving (old) topics was discussed previous year.
Some of those issues were
- some members are referencing to those topics in their reaction. after moving the link is lost.
- our site contains also quick-links to related topics on the board. very handy, when people
doesn't remember the right location. - moving topics were influencing our statistics also in a negative way. Currently we can
handle that.
Handling in a correct way was necessary to make our information reproducable each time we
are running our report generated programs.
Still our opinion is: don't moved old topics to another forum.

Indeed everybody makes his own way of implementing things.
Also the way of coming to a solution can be very different.
Also it isn't always possible to present a solution in a definitive form.
The current website form was the result of testing different kind of
solutions like buttons, pulldown menus and changing URL colors.
Based on feedback most people want to see "what page we are looking at"
and "reduce the amount of mouse movements". Also it should be a site
which doesn't required all kind of plug-ins and which run on different
kind of internet viewers.
Lonkero, your suggestion to make a 'general' topic with a subject
"what are other sites with KiXtart stuff & mirrors" we like.
Specially it can be very useful for others to know where to find a
copy of great stuff of "kixtart.org" and "scriptlogic" site. Spe-
cially when the source of information isn't available.
Lonkero, about the Scriptlogic mirror we can tell now
- possible Scriptlogic is moving their site to another server. currently
the URLs are translating from "www.scriptlogic.com" to "luna.scriptlogic.com".
- the UDF format will not be the definitive format. we want to go for a
more plain text format.
Lonkero, what is your input about Scriptlogic mirror?
Jack, your idea of putting some great scripts on our site we like.
Please return feedback about other useful scripts f.e. BBChecker and PostPrep.

Thanks for feedback.
About mirror Scriptlogic UDFs.
Our first priority was and is: there should be a mirror of those UDFs available.
As our first format for a mirror of Scriptlogic UDFs we did the short way. Simple
we download those functions and we add the proper URL links to our site pages.
Secondly it isn't very useful to go for a definitive format, because Scriptlogic
is still busy with upgrading their UDF page.
Our next version will make a copy-paste much easier.
About other remarks.
It isn't necessary to remove UDFs like Ascan. They should be available for
people, who aren't using the latest KiXtart release.
We will add a mark-symbol to 'internal' functions.
The format - a CHM file - we found on NTDOC's site we like very much. It is small
and easily to handle.
