It wasn't our suggestion to move it to forum general.
Recently a lot of topics on the scripts forum has been moved or in some
situations copies to general forum.
The possible problems with moving (old) topics was discussed previous year.
Some of those issues were
- some members are referencing to those topics in their reaction. after moving the link is lost.
- our site contains also quick-links to related topics on the board. very handy, when people
doesn't remember the right location. - moving topics were influencing our statistics also in a negative way. Currently we can
handle that.
Handling in a correct way was necessary to make our information reproducable each time we
are running our report generated programs.
Still our opinion is: don't moved old topics to another forum.
