Dear Shawn,
About your remark
quote:
What doesn't make sense is that in the early days - kixtart.org (then: kixtart.to) was
hosted by another third-party ISP (anyone remember the day when we all got "kicked-off"
that ISP ? for allegedly "abusing" the system ?) ... so if he runs or works for a web-
hosting co. why was kixtart running on a thirdparty ISP ?
Starting this board as kixtart.to was the same year their organisation starts.
Possible that there was a deal with Ruud, when they want to use KiXtart as a part of
their company name. Possible the deal was they will host a specific KiXtart BBS.
At the beginning (see our statistic information) they workload wasn't so high like
now. For the ISP from that moment the load becomes too high and they were stopping
hosting this site.
Within about a week Henri starts hosting this BBS by their company. No limitations.
Acceptable response. For the old member was the catastrophe of summer 2000 passé.
This year Henri made a new upgrade of his server. For a better service and a better
response. At the moment the workload is just growing.
A benefit for Henri's organisation is, what can be the impact by hosting an inter-
national website. Hosting website looks to be one of their core business tasks.
Also as communication ADSL is for them the one.
greetings.
