I think NTDOC's rules cover my feelings. The one exception is keeping out non-UDF stuff.

What makes the scripts forum difficult to use is it is such a mad mixture. I find it really hard to find scripts in it, even when I know they exist. The scripts forum has become a general forum for discussing problems not a forum for discussing scripts. I think we should try to put in a rule that says a posting must start with a sample UDF or it gets moved out to the scripts forum immediately. If we don't keep out the general questions, it will just become an alternative scripts forum. If this is the objective why don't we just forget the UDF forum and continue using the scripts forum. I think it is easier to find one needle in one hay stack than to find one needle in two hay stacks.

Initially, I felt this forum was a positive step forward but in the last week it has taken a wrong turn. Les is right we may have missed the boat. Are all those UDFs in the scripts forum going to make it into the UDF forum? I suspect not.
