I've understood that you are our voodoo man what comes to perl. so, if I give you a web-related kixscript, can you translate it? been thinking of the udf-collector. all the servers I know (instead of kixtart.org itself) use linux platform and thus running xmlhttp on them is big no-no. but to get it self updating it would be easiest to get it work on server side. that way there is no need to code the sftp connection...
