That helped. [Smile]

$lvwDB.FocusedItem.Index returns the row I am on. Now I need the column index. I think I saw something about .Index on the board. I will see if I can find it.

If I can't figure this out, I have an idea using the SpinButton to go thru the columns.

Okay, I now have a form and set of functions that allow me to do basic DB/List editing with multi-column support.

I think I got most of the bugs out. The only problem is that all the arrays in a multidemsional array need to be the same size. Of course, that is how it is supposed to be. [Wink]

Reposted code up above.

Jochen,
What else do you think? And thanks for the help.

HEy, that looks really great !

Was able to add items intuitively (without having the button bmps [Wink] ) in both columns ...

Really nice work !

J.

(maybe a validation of input will be necessary , but that can easily be tracked with the OnChange event for that textbox / plus enabling disabling the buttons on certain circumstances ; A nice sample is the Keyword Maintainer Subform I wrote for PostPrep {disables add Button on duplicate names [Wink] }

Updated again.

I have added some validation. I don't think you can add or edit a duplicate value in SubItem(0). I will be using this in different programs, so I have gotton rid of all but one formal function. The rest are in the form, itself.

Jochen,
I did not do it the way you suggested. I changed some ToolTips to include "DUPLICATE - ". At least to me, I am trying to keep it simple. Hah, it is about 250 lines now. There went simple.
