Hey folks, I found my problem and it was my fault. Thanks Shawn, I was piling problems so my troubleshooting sucked. You were right about $InvForm.Show then Visible, that causes the form to lock, but the original form was being re-created by the small chunk of code that makes sure Kixforms.dll is properly registered.

I think I need to find some stuff to contribute now that people have tried to help me.
