Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	Hi Chef, Well one thing that might not be helping matters too much is that in the "called" script, on the second form, theres a "double" make visible being performed ... code: $InvForm.Show $InvForm.Visible = 1 Might just stick with the Show and see if that helps matters any. -Shawn

The only reason it is there is because I was messing with the code trying to get it to work.. People keep thinking that I have code errors, but really, I honestly think that there is a glitch with KixForms somewhere. I am going to try and reproduce the problem again with shorter code and start a new thread.

Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	Chef - I think your right too - think there is a bug in there somewhere. The only reason I mentioned the double shows is because when I tried your script here, the double shows locked-out the form, and when I removed the extra show, the form started working again. So yeah there is a bug somewhere.

The Chef The Chef Fresh Scripter Registered: 2003-01-08 Posts: 23 Loc: New Jersey	Hey folks, I found my problem and it was my fault. Thanks Shawn, I was piling problems so my troubleshooting sucked. You were right about $InvForm.Show then Visible, that causes the form to lock, but the original form was being re-created by the small chunk of code that makes sure Kixforms.dll is properly registered. I think I need to find some stuff to contribute now that people have tried to help me.

They can't live side by side as they are quite similar in behaviour/and or registering/mehtods or something I dunno about (even kixbgi (by Shawn) and kforms(also by Shawn) can't be registered simultaneously) _________________________
