as your input shows that you have tried something by yourself, we (at least I) see you as perfect newbie.
it gets annoying only when someone asks something for month in several topics and says in the last one that well, maybe I should download kix and try it myself [Big Grin]

what comes to your experience, the basic background can be seen from your usage of gosub/goto

but, like you said, you learned by trial and that's the way most of us learn things.
and with kixtart, that is not even hard as the syntax is as free as it can get.
