well, the difference is that it is $form.hyperlink whereas clicking buttons and doubleclicking the history entry are onclick events. they fire up ie. I'm not certain what is the difference in the call, but outcome is different anyway. it might be that shawn uses ie com or dde on that...
haven't found a workaround for it but I'm open for suggestions.
