OptimumX OptimumX Fresh Scripter Registered: 2002-09-07 Posts: 9 Loc: Denver, Colorado	I'm not sure if this is a bug or a feature, but the command prompt's screen colors are always reset to grey on black with KiX v4.11. I prefer a different color scheme, and v3.62 did not modify this, unless a script error occurred. Now in v4.11 everytime I run a script the colors are rest back to black. Please change this in an upcoming release. Thanks, Marty

No other scripting language changes the colors cmd.exe. It would be one thing if KiX32.exe changed the screen colors and then set them back when it exited, but it's not doing that. Even the simplest script without any color changes will set the screen colors to grey text on black background, for no reason.

Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	Should post this to the BETA forum as a bug. I've seen similar behavior with users that have customized their DOS colors ... like you say, even a no-op script sets the colors back to black and white.
