Excellent idea, check out my reply (re: hiding the cursor) in the other forum. That script was a start at exactly what your proposing... but i've since abandoned it... now I'm hoping that you can actually make it work !

Agreed - but you can cleverly "fake" them using arrays and functions... just follow the scoping rules and keep your "object" state data encapsulated (inside arrays) !
