Is there any chance of a later version of the fabulous DOS/Win3.11 version of KiXtart?You may think I'm mad, but to be honest, I find myself using this tool a lot - as far as DOS manipulation goes, it's better than batch for scripting with.
However the current version is buggy, sometimes doesn't work for any clear reason, and lacks (IMHO) some essential functions (read/writeprofilestring, ucase, lcase etc. etc) found in the later versions.
It may sound like I'm mad, but when you build a rebuild mechanism using ghosting technology, where complex DOS commands are required, it works much the better.
Plus you can return certain Macros too.
Any chance? Or am I just dreaming?
