Any gotchas? Any lockups?
Any Macros not being populated properly?
All scripts work as before?

Working without any modifications? Possible that you aren't using
the @kix in a specific format.
It is the second time kixtart isn't downwards compatible. The first
time was the upgrade from Kixtart 3.63 into 4.x releases.

KiX 3,xx used OLExxx functions for COM programming.
Ruud streamlined this to look like VB in KiX 4.xx, using GetObject() / CreateObject()
For all other obsolete functions in KiXtart updates, Ruud has made dummy Function to replace the omitted function in the new release.
It might be because you joined this board so late, you haven't observed this. ![[Wink]](images/icons/wink.gif)
I believe it was Shawn that started many of us on the use of COM programming by using the MS agents. Ie. getting Merlin to fly around the screen
using KiX scripts with the 3.xx OLExxx() functions. Those scripts had to be totally rewritten to be used in KiX 4.xx
One of the 4.xx updates also required that the KXRPC service was updated if you had 9x clints using the InGroup() function.

For us it was also only the @kix macro.
With the rest of this release we don't have any problem.

I also rememebr of having this brain-fart of using it to read the login script progress to the user. Decided, it would be too annoying, even if it just announces error messages and problems.
