Hello,
I'm trying to output the IPCONFIG-output to a file with the following code and the outputfile is created, but there is only the "OK = 0" and the REDIRECT-output is showing at the screen.

$OK = REDIRECTOUTPUT("%TEMP%\IPConfigAll.txt", 1)

I believe REDIRECTOUTPUT is to redirect output that would normally go to the Kix console to a file. To redirect output from the IPCONFIG command, you need to use the DOS redirector.

SHELL "%comspec% /c IPCONFIG /ALL > c:\ipconfig.txt"

Dear Jens,

LLigetfa was right. Any shell or run command which will produce
output will be send to his "console-box". Those commands are running in their
own environment space.
The RedirectOutput functions works only for the output generated by kixtart
statements.
