Hi

I'm new to Kixtart scripting and I need some help ?

I'm trying to run a install.exe using SU in a kix script - it looks like it's starting the programme (a quick flash with the install status bar pops up on the screen ) then nothing happens?

here is what I've done:

first I made a kix script "MM6_11_d.kix" looking like this:

$program = "\\CWTCPH06\multimark\MM_INSTALL_UPD\MM6_11_d.exe"
$userid = "administrator"
$Password = "tudtyidti"

Setl "SU_COMMANDLINE=\\CWTCPH06\multimark\MM_INSTALL_UPD\MM6_11_d.exe"
setl "SU_DOMAIN=@domain"
setl "SU_PASSWORD=$password"
Shell "%comspec% /c su $userid"

I placed it together with

MM6_11_d.exe
KIX32.EXE and a
MM6_11_d.bat to start kix script "MM6_11_d.kix" looking like this:

@echo off
REM echo run MM6_11_d.exe

call Q:\MM_INSTALL_UPD\kix32 Q:\MM_INSTALL_UPD\MM6_11_d.kix

is there anyone who knows how to get this to work ??
