A UDF is not really needed. One thought I had was that I could turn on more than one option as defined by some "best practice" definition. That way I could only use one line, the UDF, instead of multiple lines.
Like I said in my original post, I was playing around.
But I am more interested in the parsing logic that did not catch the $Explicit variable as not being defined.
