My thought was that I wanted to code to a specific style and wanted my UDFs to be usable by anyone - those that set the options and those that do not. So each of my UDFs would set the options "ON" for my code incase the person using my UDF does not have them turned ON and then turn them back to the original state so that the balance of the person's code is not adversely affected.
Doing this would make UDFs easier to program. I think that I saw today where Lonk was coding something for Radimus so that his UDF would work if the person using the UDF had the options ON or OFF.
