I currently working on a script to automate a backup procedure for a couple of ACE servers we use.

As part of the script I need to log the backups in the application event viewer. But I have a problem with the event id's.

The current scipt we have tried is this -

The main problem we have, is the events are logged like this

Event Category: None
Event ID: 1

Computer: DAP00009
Description:
The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( ACEBackup ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: Backup of DAP00009 Event Logs has been completed Sucessfully.

Has anyone got any suggestions to what I can do ?
