If you think registering the DLL is too much, there is another option.

Shawn wrote a small wrapper for EI called KiXPop (KiXWin.exe) that you can place in \NetNogon and call from the script. It will display html content. A search for "KiXPop" in the scripts forum should get you quite a few hits.

There is of course one other option... that being to call IE with COM. Lots of examples in the COM forum.
