I live in the country, not in a municipality. It is because I don't like neighbors. I am surrounded by trees. 18 acres of them are mine to do with as I please. Well it started as 18 acres. I cleared out a few acres to build my house.
According to popular legend, I was born in a log cabin that I built with my own hands. [Wink] That was a very long time ago. I now have a 'stick-built' house that I started constructing in '98 and is now nearly complete. After the woodshed, building the garage will be the next project.
