there was two problems:
1. w32time did not get the times from even secondary time servers.
and actually, I have got no connection to finnish "public" time servers whatsoever.
2. w2k clients poll the timeserver info from domain controller.
even if do configure other machine to be the server it does not accept it.
I've found lots of comments on the internet, mostly from europe I quess, stating that w32time does not work correctly, but it needs other app to get the correct time to the server.
ok, I can pull all my servers time from network but as long as my network is nt4 controlled I will have, if I enable w32time service on clients, event viewer full of w32time related errors and warnings.
