I hadn't thought of using a different color than black! However, I had written a quick script to test this with yesterday. I made a change to have the user select a color then attempted to set the color display with that variable. I keep getting an error that I am using an invalid color argument. Does anyone know if it is possible to use a variable in the Color statement? Here is the code I was using to test:
code:
CLS
COLOR g/n
at (7,10) "what color do you want to try?"
at (8,10) "n - black, b - blue, g - green, c - cyan, r - red, m - magenta,"
at (9,10) "y - yellow, w - white"
get $colr
at (3,12) "you chose "+$colr
at (10,10) "give me your password!"
color $colr/$colr
AT (11,10)
gets $password
color g+/r
at (15,15) "Your password is: "+$password
