ScriptLogic will automatically create the destination folder for any operation, including such things as MS Office paths, folder redirection, etc.

It makes no sense why redirecting favorites would have 'killed' your reg value. I assume you're using the Folder Redirection tab?

The Internet tab will allow you to control the IE start page, so you shouldn't need to do that via a standard script.

Anyway, my suggestion would be that you post to the ScriptLogic - General forum over at www.scriptlogic.com, or call the technical support department. That is one benefit of a commercial product -- live support.
