I'm new at kixtart and have been trying to map drives for different groups and users. This is what I want to do, for differient groups I wan't to map drives for their particular group that only that group has access to. I also want to map a drive for each user that only they can access. This is what I have tried but have had no luck.
If ingroup("computer services")
use G:"\\server\group\computer services"
Endif
and
use H:"\\server\user\bob" + @userid
I have computer services in the description field on the NT server. What am I doing wrong, Please help.

Hi Help,

I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have not really set up any groups. I'm getting this from your statement: "I have computer services in the description field..." Ingroup() only works for valid global or local groups. If you haven't done that, do it. If you have created the groups, make sure the proper people are in them and that you are spelling the group names correctly. I would then suggest running in debug mode and trying to see what error message you are getting. If you have anymore information, let us know.
