Perhaps you could perform this change externally. By this I mean having your internal proxy server redirect internal HTTP queries to the MS Windows Update page to your internal corporate page. This solution is not as elegant as setting each system individually, but may be simpler to maintain without reinstalling IE using the Admin Kit. If you have no proxy server, well, then I guess this solution is of no benefit to you.
