Hi!

I'm trying to get the Ingroup-function working in a logniscript in my Active-Directory, but so far I've failed. Does anyone know how I can get it working ? I use kixtart 3.63. The group I am trying to detect is not in the standard OU "Builtin". Does this matter?

Magne,

Welcome!

Can you post a snippet of code of what your code looks like at this point for the group detection?

If needed, you can change the name of the group to protect the innocent.

That would help..

Thanks!

- Kent

Thank's for your answer.

Here's the code I'm using:

IF InGroup("BOERS2000\IT-Avdelingen") = 1
Use H: "\\larsson\INSTALL"
Use N: "\\larsson\it"
ENDIF

BOERS2000 is the netbios-name of my domain, and larsson is the server.

Hello again!

I upgraded my kix-executable to the 2000-version, and now it's working fine!

The 2000-version is still a release-candidate. Anyone know about a reason not to use this one ?

a reason not to use the RC3 ver of kix2001....uhh...it's...uh....not compatible with win9x's flux-capacitor version 1.24....yea! yea that is it!

sorry can't think of a reason not to use the current RC3 of kix4.0.

Just be sure to test everything you want it to do and make sure it works.

Bryce
