I am trying to start a replacement winpopup program called Winpopup.exe made by Richard Turcotte on a win98 laptop from a Kixtart login script.
I use the following command:
RUN c:\windows\winpopup.exe"

It starts allright (I can see it in task manager) but it does not work properly.
It is supposed to be vissible in the system tray, but is not and it does not recive any messages.
If I kill the prosess and start it manualy it works.
When it is started from Kixtart I can see a little window like an taskbar icon for a couple of seconds, but it dissapear when the taskbar shows up. What is going wrong?
