What do you want? Directly map a printer with your script?

use "\\server\printershare"

Establishing printer connections for Windows 9x from within Kixtart does not work. This is a limitation of Windows 9x.

There is a utility call netptr that you can run from a command line or bat file
eg netptr \\server\share

This problem is coming up again.
With the utility netptr.exe I had installed the netwerkprinters in the last year at my W9x cliënts.
But we have changed our NT4.0 server to a w2k server and to my surprise netptr.exe is not working with this server.
Does anyone known a utility which I can use in my logonscript who's compatible with w2k server and has the same function as netptr.exe?

Somebody has posted a script that uses SENDKEYS (or AutoIT) to manually add printers under windows 9x. IUt's been posted here, just use the KiXtart BBS Search to retrieve it.
