I can get the script to map to normal NT shares without any problems, using, for example:

use s: "\\server001\common"

However, I cannot map to a hidden share, such as:

use s: "\\server001\administrators$"

I cannot find the appropriate syntax, can anybody shed light on this simple issue.

I haven't tried Pat's method, but I'm sure it also works. Use whichever method is more convenient for you. In most cases, you should be able to write a cleaner script by just adding +"$" to get to hidden shares.
