The script I have kicks off a program to scan the PC for programs, etc.., when the user logs in. This works great when attached to the LAN but the scan is extremely slow through a RAS connection. Is there a way to check whether a login is happening through a RAS connection, and if so, abort the scanning portion of the script?

@RAS checks for connections.

IF @RAS=1 GOTO END

Hi,

I use:
if @RAS > 1
exit <Exit code>
endif

The advantage the script returns the apropiate errorcode.
