As i stated in another post, I am working on a project for a couple of Win2k laptops.

Could a kind person with access to a win2k computer that has multiple network interface please run the following, and post it here?

netsh interface show interface

This is what i get on my single network interface win2k computer

code:

Admin State State Type Interface Name
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Enabled Dedicated Local Area Connection
Enabled Internal Internal
Enabled Loopback Loopback

I am guessing that all win2k computers will have "Internal" and "Loopback". "Local Area Connection" is the default name that Win2k uses, but it can be renamed.

I am hoping that dialup and ras connections will be displayed as well.

Thanks!
Bryce

no code, just run this command from a command line.

netsh interface show interface

After some testing on my home computer I think that this will only show network cards and not any dialup connections.

If you have a multi homed win2k computer, i still would like to see what the result is.

Bryce, Sorry it took so long

Here's what I've got on my laptop. The one below the Xircom comes up as a 3com NIC which was most likely from when I used a foreign dock.

Hope this helps
