I have a client using with two NT 4 Terminal Servers (SP6) running Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 SP2. One server was "imaged" from the other server, so they are exactly the same. They have performed adequately for years. However, now, one of the servers displays a desktop with no icons. I traced this back to the Kixtart script. The script is taking a long time to execute. It only maps a handful of drives and sets some environment variables. The user profils are negligible in size and other server (a mirror of the first) works just fine. Any ideas why the script performs poorly on a one server and the other server with the exact same hardware and software performs fine?
