Hi shawn,I'm sorry, but after reading your explanation and examining some more other posts I think I should not have posted my original question. If I would have searched a little better I would have found all the questions and answers that you have answered for me for the billionth time.
This only enhanched my respect for you, Bryce and many more of the frequent posters. I've found many posts of the same people and all of you never seem to tire of the same old questions.
I am currently working on my on homepage and I never knew a topic that would have really interesting stuff. I'm now working on a FAQ page for Kixtart. (a question about those pesky zero's comes to mind 
)
As for part of my question I think I found a really valuable lead at:

And for the rest of you that really want to know more about the OLE functions in Kixtart I would advise them to search on OLE and take time to read the 140+ messages that will result in this search. It did not only teach me a lot about OLE but I also found some other things that really helped me.
In conclusion, to everyone that's reading this message:
Kix is a cool scripting language, but I think that one of the things that makes it great is the people (bryce, shawn, and many others) who take the time to keep it alive for everyone.
