Why can't we just use the remote registry features built into Kixtart instead of the REGREAD?

READVALUE will read a remote registry if you give it a path name.

(E.G.)
$x=ReadValue("\\ltn4\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion","CSDVersion")

Will tell me the current Service pack on my server LTN4.

Just a thought.
