Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	We discovered a strange problem with Kixtart on Win95. @ values don't work in the login script. We use Enterprise Administrator (Mission Critical Software), and some of our LAN managers create groupnames with more than 20 characters (no limitation in EA, like in User Manager). Whenever a user is member of such a group, Kixtart hangs. Reducing the length of the groupnames resolves the problem. Did anyone have the same problem ?

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	This isn't a kixtart problem. Your administrators are creating group names which are greater than 20 characters which is not allowed by NT. You might be getting by with it, but I would certainly suggest you change them as soon as possible. Regards, Brad

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	It works fine on Windows NT workstations, even when group names are e.g. 40 chars long. Like I said, EA doesn't have the same limitations as User Manager for Domains.

Anonymous Anonymous Unregistered	I don't know what EA is, and frankly it doesn't matter to this question. You are trying to run an NT network and don't want to follow the rules. I didn't make them up and it doesn't matter what the workstations allow, the user accounts are kept on the server. You can't get around this. It is not a bug in kixtart. If you want to keep running with NT servers, you will have to make sure all your group names are 20 characters or less. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Regards, Brad
