At the following adress http://www.sapien.com/primalscript.htm I found a really cool kix-editor. I used to use kixedit 2.0, but this one is a lot better. It has every functionality of kixedit and a lot more. So try this one out. The only disadvantage is that it is quit expensive. You can try it for 30 days. I do not represent Sapien Software.

for all the cases the most suitable kixtart editor for me is "edit.com" . I really do not need anything more than this. But telling the truth some times I also use "notepad.exe"

Hi CJI tried a few things with Textpad 4.22. Looks great, downloaded the syntax file and up we go. Except I couldn't find out if this tool is also able to execute scripts. I tried the command Run, but that doesn;t work out, I get an error like couldn't find script etc. Maybe you can give me an answer. Thanks,

I use NoteTab Light - it is FREE and you can configure the whole thingy ;-) The quy received several awards and even have fan-pages!! I find it much better than UltraEdit, because it have the same or even more functions and it is free.By the way, do you know if there is a Clipbook Libary is existing for Kix inside of NoteTab?? Download at www.notetab.com Cheers, [This message has been edited by Porquerizo (edited 08 June 2000).]

I just use a very simple and basic Editor and that's "NOTEPAD.EXE".It's Free and has no BUGS so for me this is the safest way to edit/make my KiXtart Scripts. HiI've built up a notetab clipbook over the past few months - you're welcome to a copy (it's also been submitted to Steve Wilson on the Kixtart Archive and to notetab.com). Doesn't implement the sendkeys, OLE or messagebox entries, doesn't have entries for some of the really simple commands (GET, GO etc) but most of the rest is there. If you'd like it emailed let me know. OK - just to prove I'm new on this board... Where do I post it to? It's up on the notetab site at http://www.notetab.com/scripting.htm if that's easier than putting it up here on the board Regards Doug quote: Originally posted by Porquerizo: Cool!!Thanks a lot, Mario

Personally, I've been using the Visual Kixtart Editor from Version Zero software. It is not free but it does what I need it to do and I like it. It has syntax highlighting and you can run/debug the program from within the editor. Go here http://versionzero.romanweb.com/ for more information.
