Hi all

I am currently looking at error traps for mapping drives..
I would like the script to run through the drive mappings but when an error is returned, just display a message then continue the rest of the script. I have successfully got as far as displaying the message box. However the script trips out and does not process any more of the script..

Is there any way of suppressing the built in error messages and creating an error trap of your own....?

Many thanks,

the only errors that cause KIX to stop running are syntax errors, otherwise you will be able to check the @error and @serror to see if your drive was mapped or not.

----------
use u: "\\server\share"
if @error <> 0 ? @serror endif
----------

could you please post the part of the script that is stopping?

Bryce

Bryce,

Sorry to waste your time. The reason WAS syntax.... A mix up with American and English spelling...

Many thanks indeed
