What is the correct syntax to Xcopy a directory and Sub directorys with long filnames

shell "Xcopy
\\Server1\Software\Microsoft Office\Templates\Lamberts\ C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates\Lamberts\ /s /d /c /q"

I will work with 8.3 but not longnames

Thanks

John,

What OS is running the script? I used a similar command on W95 machines and it worked great (xcopy actually uses xcopy32).

../mk

WinNT4 & Win95

But the problem I had, is now solved. I found the correct syntax

shell 'Xcopy "Longfilename1" "Longfilename2" /s'

Thanks for the reply
