I am real new and have some gaps in my understanding. In the past I have added very limited .bat files in a users profile to map directories. I read the kix documentation and have added all files to netlogon share. I mapped a second NT server to the share and am able to execute kix32 command. But I do not have a clue how to call a script up for execution. I have found many sample scripts, but nothing for theses basics.

Any help would be appreciated.

In the batch file that you've specified for the user's logon script that you use to map drives, specify the following command to execute a kix32 script.

%0\..\kix32 %0\..\script.kix

The %0\..\ part is a shortcut path to specify the netlogon share of the logon server being used. You must ensure that your logon servers are setup for replication so that they get the logon script and changes.
