use * /delete does not seem to work!

Howdy All!
Just a last question ( for the time being ). Everything is going great with the KixTart logon script with one exception: the 'use * /delete' does not seem to be deleting the previous logon script mapped network drives.
We were using a simply "logon.bat" logon script. Here is the code for it:

My Boss wrote that. We had both WIN2000 and WIN98 systems in the environment but that recently changed. So, the users have four mapped network drives from this logon script and several others from a Novell logon script. None overlap! There were no issues whatsoever.
So,we now want to make use of KixTart. This logon script file is named 'logon.kix' and is supposed to replace the previous Windows logon script drive mappings and all but two of the Novell drive mappings. Here is the logon.kix script file:

It worked in the 'test environment' - which consisted of me taking an existing WIN2000 computer and creating three test users and removing the Novell Client software and having fun. No issues. However, in the production environment the four mapped network drives from the previous logon.bat remain. Can't open them but they are still there AND preventing the new KixTart logon script from making the proper mapping.
Each user still has a K:\ drive - which should not be.
I went to each user's profile and manually removed the "logon.bat" and replaced it with 'Kix32.exe logon.kix' last night. I told all users to log off last night and to log back on this morning. All of them have done so and all still have remnants of logon.bat.
Any ideas?

Would that not prevent the Novell login script from running as well as the H:\ from being mapped ( this is stipulated in each user's profile - Conntect [Drive Letter: ] To [\\servername\share\%username% ])?

Figured it out...
Simply add the /persistent switch after the /delete switch and all is good.

Well, I did thank him for the reply. However, I also asked him a question about using the "*" and that removing all other drive mappings. I tested it and using
code:
use "*" /delete /persistent
did indeed remove the remaining drive mappings from the Novell login script as well as the H:\ that was a part of the user profile. I remembered reading about that in the Manual! I do know about 'RTFM' - which seems to be the mantra in this particular BB.
So, I simply added the switch "/persistent" to my original script and all is fine and dandy.

When I look at the manual I see the following:
Use USE "*" /DELETE to delete all current connections except those to a NETLOGON share and those to the drive or share from which KiXtart was started.
The Novell login script runs before the Windows logon script ( logon.kix ). I tested this on three machines with three users in the production environment and the only mapped network drives that they had were those from logon.kix.
After I replaced "*" with * and added the "/persistent" switch and then ran it the few remaining Novell mappings were there, as was the H:\ mapping. And, the undesired four mappings from the previous logon script ( logon.bat ) were no longer there! Can only assume that the "*" /DELETE /PERSISTENT removed ( aka deleted ) all existing mappings ( see manual extract ).
Anyway, all is well now.
And I am very glad that Novell is going to be removed. I much prefer WIN2000!

One thing to keep in mind with the USE '*' /DELETE /PERSISTENT
If you have any printer mappings to LPTx at DOS, you will need to re-map those as well. We have a couple of old legacy applications that need LPT1 mapped. So, what you should do in this case, is "capture" LPTx, write to a variable and then do a USE LPTx $var..
