kinder kinder Lurker Registered: 2003-10-24 Posts: 3 Loc: PARIS (FRANCE)	hi, I searching a way to write a nul byte (&0) in a file.... when I use writeline($h,chr(0)) , nothing is writed (eq "") Can someone help me ?

Richard H. Richard H. Administrator Registered: 2000-01-24 Posts: 4946 Loc: Leatherhead, Surrey, UK	You cannot do this directly with KiXtart built-in functions, as the null byte terminates a string. You may be able to use the FSO object to do it - search the board for examples. If you explain more about what you are trying to do we may be able to offer better alternatives.

(the target is an URL pointing to a web folder). If you have another way to do this... thank's

kinder kinder Lurker Registered: 2003-10-24 Posts: 3 Loc: PARIS (FRANCE)	I have already shearch and there is no UDF in the forum that can do this ! a shortcut to a web folder (mapi folder) is not a shortcut to a web page. The mapi folder has a structure like directories. If I create a shortcut to a directory with these UDF i can't see the directory tree.
