It really seems like two different avenues are being persued.

(1) Surgical removal of a program.
(2) Uninstall using a uninstall routine.

Hi, ok, more history.

I create a package call pkos2.exe this package contain a silent install of nav 7.5, this is not manage by a server, (Not use a grc.dat)but ask for a password to uninstall.

Some pc´s have problems, old definitions files, registry corrupted, etc. I need remove all of these bad installs and reinstall.

When execute the script, work fine, but some files remain.

a. Not are use by a process, because by windows can be deleted.

d. The file-attributes are in blank.

Well, I will make manually....

Well, then reboot the computer and delete those remnants after the reboot.

You should call symantec's tech support and ask for the uninstaller tool they have for norton av version 5.x-7.x.

I used it when I uninstalled 7.03 so I could install 7.6, after a reboot. It worked on over 4000 clients...
