Shawn Shawn Administrator Registered: 1999-08-13 Posts: 8611	I dont think he's even that far yet, he kinda got hung-up on you guys telling him he can't backup remotely to a UNC path ... think he may need to see some code and explaining that you specify c:\ on the backup, but UNC on the remote-to-remote copy ?

If there was a post or two missing it's because when we upgraded our BB, we did a backup of the database and then started some upgrades--during which time the BB was still live. We screwed the pooch during the upgrade and had to restore the db from backup. Any posts made between the time the backup was made and the time it bit the dust were lost. I assume that you had a post or two in there that qualified. Why would I remove any posts from that thread?? It was just getting interesting... _________________________ Stevie

I thought I may have crossed over the line but my account was still active so wasn't entirely sure. As said, at least one post was gratuitous so half expected it to be censored but also expected a slap on the wrist. BTW, I kept waiting for you to jump in and help the guy out. I expected some heat over the "rocket science" bit but not on politely quoting from the manual. I even refrained from using "RTFM".
