I'm using kixstart 3.55 in a nt4 domain for the logon script. Now we want to upgrade to windows 2000. Is the login script still working? I use the function "InGroup" in the script.

Do yourself a favor and upgrade to the latest. The speed improvement and additional features are worth it. You may have to rework some of the code but you would probably want to rework some of it anyway to make full use of the new features.

yep.
the code changes needed are so simple (from ingroup=1/2 to just ingroup=true/false) that you mostlikely have no trouble with it with new kixtart versions.

anyway, a simple re-look at your code and little play with new kixtart version will probably show you lot to improve.
and like said, even with the old script the speed improvement is awesome.

and wkix32.exe!
no console anymore!
your users will never know (if you don't want them to, like me) if their logonscript has ran (or when) or not.
